Overview

This guide walks you through deleting a workspace in AI Acquisition. Deleting a workspace is permanent and removes all associated data, including campaigns, submissions, CRM contacts, integrations, and settings.

CAUTION! Deletion cannot be undone. All data in the workspace will be permanently lost. Export any data you need before proceeding.

Before You Start

Verify you meet these requirements:

  • Owner permissions: Only workspace Owners can delete workspaces. Check your role in Settings > Members. If you're an Admin or Member, ask an Owner to promote you or request deletion.

  • Correct workspace selected: If you have multiple workspaces, use the dropdown in the top-left corner to switch to the workspace you want to delete.

  • Data exported (recommended): Export CRM contacts, campaign results, or other data you need. Deletion removes everything immediately.

Delete Your Workspace

Follow these steps to permanently delete a workspace:

  1. Open Workspace Settings: In the left sidebar, click the gear icon (Settings), then select General under the Workspace section.

  2. Scroll to the Danger Zone: At the bottom of the page, find the Danger Zone card with a red border. This section contains irreversible actions.

  3. Click "Delete Workspace": Under the "Delete Workspace" heading, click the red Delete Workspace button.

  4. Confirm deletion: A modal will appear asking you to type the exact workspace name (case-sensitive) to confirm. Enter the name, then click Confirm.

  5. Deletion completes: You'll see a success message, and the workspace will be removed immediately. You'll be redirected to your dashboard, where you can view other workspaces you have access to or create a new workspace if needed.

If you have other workspaces, they won't be affected. Only the workspace you selected is deleted.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete a workspace, the following data is permanently removed:

  • All campaigns (cold email, AI SDR, etc.) and their settings

  • Submissions and lead data

  • CRM contacts and companies

  • Integrations (e.g., email providers, Twilio phones)

  • Workspace members and their roles

  • AI knowledge and memory caches

  • All workspace-specific settings

Your account and any other workspaces you own remain active. If you have billing questions about deleted workspaces, contact support.

Troubleshooting

I don't see the "Delete Workspace" button

You're likely not the workspace Owner. Check Settings > Members to see your role. Ask an Owner to change your role to Owner, or have them delete the workspace for you.

I get an error: "You are not authorized to delete this organization"

Only Owners can delete workspaces. If you see this message, you don't have Owner permissions. Ask an existing Owner to promote you or delete the workspace.

Deletion fails with "We were unable to delete your workspace"

This usually means a temporary server issue. Wait a few minutes and try again. If the problem persists, contact support with details about when you tried to delete.

I can't find the workspace I want to delete

Use the workspace dropdown in the top-left corner to switch between workspaces. Make sure you're logged into the correct account if you have multiple.
