Cold Email Agent

Why Can't I Select Specific Domains or Emails When Buying Email Accounts?

Overview

When you buy email accounts through the Cold Email Agent, you'll notice there's no option to select specific domain names or email addresses. This is by design. The system automatically provides pre-warmed domains and inboxes optimized for deliverability.

Why Selection Isn't Available

The "Buy Email Accounts" process provisions pre-warmed email accounts automatically for several key reasons:

Optimized for Deliverability

Each email account goes through a warming process before you receive it. This includes:

  • Gradual sending volume increases

  • Realistic email profiles

  • Established sender reputation

These accounts are ready to use immediately without risking spam flags that new domains typically face.

Simplified Setup

Automatic provisioning removes the complexity of:

  • Purchasing and configuring custom domains

  • Setting up email providers manually

  • Waiting weeks for domain warming

  • Managing DNS records and authentication

The platform does not currently support using personal or business domains for cold email campaigns. Custom domain warming is not available.

How It Works

When you purchase email accounts:

  1. Navigate to Cold Email Agent > Email Accounts

  2. Click + Buy Email Accounts

  3. Select the number of domains (inboxes are automatically calculated at 3 per domain)

  4. Complete checkout with your payment method

  5. Wait 15-30 minutes for provisioning to complete

The system provisions your accounts through Google Workspace with fully configured profiles. You'll receive a notification when they're ready to use.

Accounts are sold in fixed bundles—typically 1 domain with 3 inboxes. Each inbox can send 50-75 emails per day for optimal deliverability.

Protection for Your Business Domain

Cold emailing can damage your domain's reputation if not handled properly. Using your business domain risks blacklisting, spam filtering, and deliverability issues that could affect all company emails.

Pre-warmed accounts keep your business domain safe by using separate, dedicated domains designed specifically for outreach.

What You Get

Each automatically provisioned email account includes:

  • Pre-warmed domain—already established with email providers

  • Ready-to-use inboxes—3 inboxes per domain by default

  • Realistic profiles—names and email addresses

  • Full management—edit names, statuses, and campaign assignments in the Email Accounts table

For details on what pre-warmed accounts are and how they benefit your campaigns, see What are Pre-Warmed Domains and Inboxes.

Using Your Accounts

Once provisioned, your email accounts appear in the Email Accounts table. You can:

  • Assign them to cold email campaigns

  • Edit account names for organization

  • Monitor sending status and performance

  • Manage active/inactive states

To start using your new accounts in campaigns, check out How to Create a New Cold Email Campaign.

Purchases are non-refundable. If accounts don't appear after 30 minutes, refresh the page or contact support before purchasing again.

Prerequisites

Before purchasing email accounts, ensure you have:

  • Pro or Legacy Pro plan

  • Connected email provider (Acquisity or Instantly)

  • Valid payment method on file

Common Questions

Can I customize the domain names?

No. Domains are automatically generated and pre-warmed specifically for cold email deliverability. This protects your business domain and ensures optimal inbox placement.

How many accounts should I buy?

Base your purchase on daily sending volume. Each inbox can safely send 50-75 emails per day. For 150 emails daily, buy 1 domain with 3 inboxes (the standard bundle).

Why are inboxes locked at 3 per domain?

The 3:1 inbox-to-domain ratio is optimized for deliverability. Scaling follows this ratio automatically—2 domains provide 6 inboxes, 3 domains provide 9 inboxes, and so on.
