The Cold Email Agent is an AI-powered tool that monitors your outreach campaigns in real-time and optimizes them automatically to improve performance. This guide gives you an overview of how to use the Cold Email Agent to run effective cold email campaigns.

What the Cold Email Agent Does

The Cold Email Agent helps you manage cold email outreach by:

  • Monitoring campaign performance in real-time

  • Optimizing email sequences and timing automatically

  • Providing insights on what's working and what needs adjustment

  • Tracking key metrics like positive replies and booked calls

The AI continuously analyzes your campaigns and explains every action it takes, so you always understand why changes are recommended.

Understanding Your Dashboard

The Cold Email Agent dashboard shows you the performance of all your campaigns at a glance.

Key Metrics

At the top of your dashboard, you'll see four main metrics:

  • Contacted Leads - How many prospects you've reached

  • Positive Replies - Responses showing genuine interest

  • Positive Reply Rate - The percentage of engaged responses (target benchmark is ≥ 2%)

  • Booked Call Rate - The percentage of contacted leads that booked a sales call.

  • Booked Calls - Meetings scheduled from your campaigns

Campaign Status

Each campaign displays a color-coded status to help you quickly identify performance:

  • Green - Campaign is performing well

  • Yellow - Campaign needs attention

  • Red - Campaign has issues that require immediate action

Focus on your Positive Reply Rate as your primary success metric. This tells you how many prospects are genuinely interested in what you're offering.

Creating a Campaign

To create a new campaign, click the New Campaign button. You'll be guided through a simple workflow:

  1. Campaign Basics - Name your campaign and define your niche: location, industry, roles, company size

  2. Email Sequence - The AI automatically creates your series of outreach emails based on your target niche, or you can customize the email copy if you prefer

  3. Add Leads - Use the built-in lead scraping tool, or upload your own prospect list

  4. Automated Campaign Creation - After inputting all of your campaign details, the AI agent creates your campaign, which can include writing email sequences and scraping leads

  5. Review and Launch - After, the AI agent configures your campaign, review the email sequence, confirm your settings and launch the campaign

The AI helps you by optimizing campaigns based on what has worked for similar campaigns.

Managing Your Campaigns

From the campaigns overview table, you can perform actions on any campaign using the menu (⋯):

  • View Details - See in-depth analytics and performance data

  • Rename - Change the campaign name

  • Launch - Start a draft campaign

  • Pause - Temporarily stop a running campaign

Campaign Details

Click on any campaign to access detailed information organized into tabs:

  • Analytics - Charts and trends showing campaign performance over time

  • Leads - Your complete prospect list with engagement status

  • Emails - All messages in your sequence with performance data

  • AI Agent - Recommendations and actions the AI has taken

Check the AI Agent tab regularly to review optimization suggestions. The AI explains each recommendation so you can learn what improves your campaigns.

How AI Optimization Works

The Cold Email Agent monitors your campaigns and makes intelligent suggestions to improve results. It analyzes:

  • Reply rates and sentiment

  • Email engagement patterns

  • Email copy and subject line effectiveness

When the AI identifies an opportunity to improve performance, it provides a clear explanation and recommendation in the AI Agent tab.

Always configure warm-up schedules for your sending accounts before launching campaigns to protect your sender reputation.

To get the most from your Cold Email Agent campaigns:

  • Monitor your Positive Reply Rate and aim for at least 2% benchmark

  • Review AI suggestions regularly and apply learnings to future campaigns
