This guide shows you how to set up Acquisity, the AI Acquisition platform's built-in cold email engine, for sending cold email campaigns.

What is Acquisity?

Acquisity is the platform's managed cold email sending engine. Unlike third-party tools like Instantly that require external accounts and manual configuration, Acquisity integrates directly into your workflow with automatic setup and account provisioning.

Acquisity handles domain configuration, email account rotation, and deliverability automatically—no need to manage external platforms or API keys.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

  • An active legacy_pro plan subscription (you'll be prompted to upgrade if needed)

  • Admin access to your organization

Enable Acquisity as Your Sender

Follow these steps to activate Acquisity for cold email campaigns:

Step 1: Navigate to Cold Email Agent Settings

Go to Dashboard > Settings > Cold Email Agent.

Step 2: Connect Acquisity Provider

Click the Connect Provider button. A modal will appear showing available cold email providers.

Step 3: Select Acquisity

In the provider selection modal, choose the Acquisity (Built-in) card.

If you're currently on a plan that doesn't include Acquisity, you'll see an "Upgrade to Enable Acquisity" button instead. Click it to access the checkout page and upgrade to legacy_pro.

Step 4: Complete Connection

After selecting Acquisity, the system will:

  • Test the connection (you'll see a "Testing..." indicator)

  • Display "Connection test successful" when ready

  • Automatically provision email accounts for sending

Step 5: Sync Your Campaigns

Click Sync Campaigns to finalize the setup. Your cold email infrastructure is now ready.

What Happens After Setup

Once Acquisity is enabled:

  • Email accounts are auto-provisioned with addresses like noreply@acquisity.[yourorg].com

  • Daily sending limits are set to 50 emails per account by default (adjustable in campaign settings)

  • Account rotation is automatic to optimize deliverability

  • Campaigns can be created through the New Campaign wizard without external tool setup

Creating Your First Campaign with Acquisity

After enabling Acquisity, create a campaign:

  1. Navigate to Cold Email Campaign Agent in your dashboard

  2. Click New Campaign

  3. Follow the wizard to name your campaign, add leads, set targeting, and configure sequences

  4. Your auto-provisioned Acquisity accounts will handle sending automatically

  5. Click Launch when ready

Your campaign will now send using Acquisity's managed infrastructure with no additional configuration needed.

Troubleshooting

Daily Sending Limit Reached

New accounts default to 50 emails per day. To adjust limits, go to your campaign's Options tab and use the daily limit slider, or contact support for higher limits.

Avoid launching campaigns immediately after setup. Wait for account status to show as "Active" to ensure successful sending.

Acquisity vs. Instantly

Here's how Acquisity differs from using Instantly:

  • No external signup required - Acquisity works entirely within the platform

  • No API keys or webhooks to configure - Connection is automatic

  • Managed email accounts - Acquisity provisions and rotates accounts for you

  • Simplified workflow - Create and launch campaigns without switching between tools

If you're currently using Instantly and want to switch to Acquisity, follow the setup steps above. The provider selection modal allows you to change your cold email engine at any time.
