How Leads Are Managed Across Campaigns

The AI Acquisition platform manages leads at the campaign level to protect your deliverability and prevent accidental duplicate outreach. This article explains how leads are scoped, how duplicate prevention works across your workspace, and why these safeguards exist.
Leads Are Campaign-Scoped
Every lead belongs to the specific campaign where they were first contacted. When you import a CSV or scrape leads for a campaign, those leads are tied exclusively to that campaign.
You can view and manage leads only within each campaign's Leads tab. There's no global leads view across all campaigns.
This scoping means:
Leads appear only in the campaign where they were imported or generated
You cannot move or copy leads between campaigns through the interface
Each campaign maintains its own leads list and outreach history
No Export Workflow Today
The platform does not currently offer a way to export leads from campaigns. There are no CSV download buttons or bulk export options.
Duplicate Outreach Is Prevented Workspace-Wide
AI Clients automatically prevents your workspace from contacting the same lead more than once, even across different campaigns. This protection applies at the organization level, not just within a single campaign.
How It Works
When you import leads via CSV or scraping, the platform checks each email address against all leads already in your workspace. If a duplicate is detected, the system skips that lead and displays a message like:
Duplicate email found: [email protected]. This lead already exists and cannot be added again to prevent repeated outreach. This enforcement happens during:
Manual CSV uploads to campaigns
AI-scraped lead imports
Any lead addition workflow
You cannot override this duplicate prevention. If you try to re-upload the same leads to a new campaign, those emails will be automatically skipped.

The platform's lead management design focuses on three core protections:
Protects Deliverability
Sending duplicate emails to the same contacts increases bounce rates and spam flags, which damage your sender reputation. By preventing duplicate outreach, the AI Acquisition platform helps maintain healthy email deliverability scores across your workspace.
Prevents Accidental Over-Contacting
When running multiple campaigns, it's easy to accidentally include the same leads in different lists. Workspace-wide duplicate prevention ensures you never reach out to the same person twice, even if they appear in separate CSV files or scraping results.
Maintains Clean Outreach History
Campaign-scoped leads keep your outreach history clear and accurate. Each campaign tracks only the leads it contacted, making it easier to measure performance and avoid confusion about who was reached when.
These protections work automatically in the background. You don't need to manually check for duplicates or manage blocklists—the platform handles it for you.
